Mitch McClenaghan to play for Sydney Thunders in BBL 2017-18

New Zealand’s fast bowler Mitch McClenaghan is all set to play for Sydney Thunders in the upcoming season of Men’s Big Bash League. The left arm pacer will be seen as Thunders’ leading bowler in the seventh edition of BBL.

Forfeiting his New Zealand cricket contract in August this year, the New Zealand cricketer is ready to fully commit to the famous Twenty20 format. The forthcoming season of Big Bash League is scheduled to start in the month of December 2017.

Popularly known for his excellent bowling performance, Mitch has claimed 54 wickets in his three years in the Indian Premier League. He plays for Mumbai Indians, which is the only team to win the three titles of IPL.

Mitch has also been the part of domestic cricket league of West Indies. He played for team St Lucia Stars in the Caribbean Premier League along with Shane Watson and Mitchell Johnson in the domestic cricket leagues of various countries.
